Anyone have any idea what the chances are that Lego City Undercover's price will stay high into the future like most big games published by Nintendo? The sad fact is I currently don't own a single full retail game for my Wii U (I've been surviving off of eShop and VC downloads) and it doesn't look like much is coming out until late summer/early fall. I'm thinking about getting this game because it looks fun, but I also hate paying full price and am hoping it will drop in the near future. Any thoughts?
Lego City Undercover price: will it be like Mario, etc?

Try finding a used copy online or gamestop, or check Target, Kmart, Walmart, Toys R Us if possible. They constantly run sales on Wii U games, not sure if Lego City has been on sale yet, but worth keeping an eye out.
Other thing you can do is beg parents or a relative for a gift card of $20.00 to put towards the game, you pay for the rest. That way you aren't begging them for full game price.
It's a great game and worth it!

It did well, but there are chances in Best Buy having sales for the game like AC3, ZombiU, Batman Armored Edition, it will go down eventually.

Lego City is a pretty big Wii U game, but I don't think it will stay full price as long as Nintendo's titles. Maybe towards the end of the year it will start getting marked down. Like it was already said, your best bet now would be to try to get it used and check around for sales or something.

I'd say purely because it's not Nintendo's title, it's TT's, that it will take discounting better than a Mario title.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

It depends on the retailer, heck even Mario Kart DS's price has only gone down $10 in it's entire shelf life here in Australia. If you have the money i suggest paying full retail to support the system.
This is where it ends
