We are going to get an online just as good, if not better, than Xbox Live.
I doubt we are going to get the same menu.

I'm sure we'll get better online (don't know how much better, but "better") and the menu is sure to be somewhat different... (at least I hope so.)

I hope the online is at least as good as PSN. This thread is about the Wii U's online, right? The OP didn't make it very clear.
Well it is in the Wii U Hardware forum, so it's unlikely to be about the Xbox 360 or PS3.
I'm confident that the Wii U will have an online system that's greatly improved from the Wii's. I think that Nintendo have said that online is important to them now. The Wii lost sales because of its poor online, so it wouldn't make sense for Nintendo not to try and improve it.

I'm confident that whoever was hired to build Ninty's online will do so well. As for the menu, I expect something similar to the 3DS and Wii menus, except improved in several areas.
