I have to go with Are You Afraid Of The Dark. Goosebumps while good, seem too kiddy at times. Are You Afraid Of The Dark had a Twilight Zone feel to it, and was dark (it had good moments), for being on Nick.

Never saw Are You Afraid of the Dark but I always watched Goosebumps. The books, TV show, board game was a staple of my childhood.

Alone in the dark, Goosebumps is almost scary, but its been on Cartoon Network before so its hardly scary.

goosebumps has some golden episodes and the werewolf movie is really cool to me personally cause when I was a kid I lived in upstate new york and the woods/swamp looked exactly like the movie and got that mist like in the movie. also a was really young when I saw it so it really creeped me out.
but overall Are You Afraid of the Dark? was better and scarier. plus the intro with the swing squeaking scared me cause where I live now is next to a park and when I was like 8 I'd hear the swings at like 4 in the morning and think of that intro :x

Heh I remember watching goosebumps when I was young.
Still remember an episode about gnomes squashing people or something. Freaked me out when I was younger.
