And if so, which ones would you recommend? I've been doing some research about headsets and it looks like the Afterglow and the Triton's are the way to go. If anyone can make recommendations, please do so. I'd be interested in getting a headset for my Wii U in the near future.

I suggest you go for the wired headsets, they failed on me once for the past 3 years but if you want togo for the best......TurtleBeach.

I've not used a headset for the Wii U yet but I do use the Turtle Beach P11's for my PS3 and they have been rock solid for the last year and a half. Well priced too. Turtle Beach would be a decent buy.

I have a Turtle Beach one, but I think I used it once on one game. It's good and cheap.

Yeah I've been wondering which headset I should get for the Wii U, because I know some of the good ones already out weren't necessarily made for the Wii U. So if anyone has any suggestions on what headset/mic I should get, let me know!

I'm deaf in one ear so I just use my sound system. It sounds better anyways and is more comfortable. I used to use headsets on the xbox, but that was only for the mic. Wii u games barely have any voice chat atm.

Turtlebeach is best if you don't mind shoveling out a TON of money for a pair of headphones. If not Tritton is pretty damn good.

People really need to learn the difference between headphones and a headset.
