Super mario 3d world  is for 3DS. it's the next installment after Super Mario 3d land.

 

and graphics on it for 3ds looked very colorful and impressive!

In other words the ONLY new game they showed was Donkey Kong. That was the only game we didn't know about, that we didn't know would be coming. No big third party support reveal and no showing or Metroid of Starfox to make a desperate attempt to show of this system's capabilities. I'm sorry, but that just doesn't cut it. 

 

They're going to be a year in to this system and their holiday line up is one Mario game. This is officially Nintendo's Vita.

This is weak no Metroid or new Zelda, they really dropped the ball here. No unexpected games...very obvious Nintendo direct.

My feelings - Nintendo has sold me on a Wii U, but only next year with the launch of Mario Kart 8. That makes me sad, I was hoping it was going to be a late this year release.

 

Super Mario 3D World is a big disappointment to me. It's basically Super Mario 3D Land on the Wii U. Not only is it a sequel, but it is a sequel to the series with the most linear of worlds. I was really hoping that they would keep that series to the handhelds (it's not a bad series for handhelds) and blow our minds with something more...open on the Wii U. But it's just Super Mario 3D Land in HD, with gimmicks. Meh.

 

Mario Kart 8... It's absolutely gorgeous. It looks like they not only returned Mario Kart 7's features, but they also returned the bikes from Mario Kart Wii. Plus, the graphics are absolutely amazing. It's just what I wanted from Mario Kart U! Too bad we have to wait another year for it...

 

Super Smash Bros. 4... No title? They totally flipped me out when they showed Animal Crossing in HD. I was like "...What? Those graphics are gorgeous but..." However, I already knew it had to be SSB. The Animal Crossing Villager is a very odd choice. Not one that I hate, in fact I kind of supported it for Brawl... but PLEASE tell me that we can at least customize them? I want mine to look like MY villager...

 

The game looks quite beautiful, but only unveiling two new characters is a bit odd.

I hope so, otherwise color me unimpressed. Wait, scratch that, make that 'disappointed'. At least I expected a suprise title. Only DK...but that's not the title I wanted from Retro. Come on.

And with that, fifa2014 is really coming out for all digital media exept WiiU. Even Wii and 3ds get their footy. Looks like a real grudge between EA and WiiU now.

I watched X. It was pretty much the only time the stream was working for me. But one game, that we already knew about, can't save this whole show. X looks awesome, but it's one game.

It IS Xenogears 2. And it looks amazing. And its huge open non segmentef world? No split up regions? Its.... More than everything ive ever wanted,i have to watch it again.

I am also a little underwhelmed. I actually want DK Returnes 2, however I would have liked to seen more titles. And was DK Retro's game, or has that not been shown yet?

Nintendo is in trouble, because most of the GOOD looking games shown -- Bayonetta 2 and X -- are 2014 games. The other games, like Mario and DK, look good but aren't mind blowing (you wouldn't expect those games to have mind blowing graphics). And the fact that Wii Fit U was delayed made me sad. I actually wanted to try that game.

However, Super Smash Bros Wii U w/Mega Man was a pleasant surprise. Overall, Nintendo is second or third at E3 so far, and Sony won BY A HUGE margin.
