Guys I know Pokemon fans are very striked on everybody's opinion like Pokemon on console but this is really ridiculous, raging and ranting over a new type Nintendo themselves confirmed? REALLY!? Does it seriously stop you from buying Pokemon X & Y?! I get every pokemon regardless but over a new type? That's like if Pokemon Gen 2 started this year and everyone was ranting about the new Steel & Dark types. I mean its just a type, weakness and strengths who cares.

Nope we need Fairy types imo, Why?

Because Dragon types are overpowered

Gardevoir is relevant

Jigglypuff needs a new moveset for SSB4  ;)

A new type doesn't bother me at all. We have 17 types, a 18th doesn't seem to change much.

I don't see how it effects anything.
It's still rock paper scissors.
Fire water grass, all the same stuff.

I just want to see what all is changed in the game and how it will play.
It will be coming out around my bday so maybe someone will buy one for me.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect :)

I hate it.

I would ask why but considering that you also hated the 4th gen, i probably wouldn't get a good answer XD

Maybe now it will stem the tide of "OMG ALL DRAGON TEAM! SO 1337!"  I find online.  I stopped playing pokemon online at Battle Revolution because 4/5 of the people I played all had the exact same team of dragons.

I find it cool. Fairy types could add cool elements to the Game.
But.......WHY IS MARILL A FAIRY TYPE?!

I shower you with coconut cream pies.

It doesn't really bother me... but I just can't imagine any "cool" looking fairy type pokemon... (haven't been following on xy as much so tell me if I'm wrong)

& I thought it was fine with just 17 types.

And seriously, there are ways around Dragon type pokemon. They aren't that OU.... except Garchomp.

So far all that is know about Fairy's type matchup is that it's super-effective against Dragon type Pokemon.

I don't see the problem, pokemon needs more variety if they ever want to win back fans like me, who aren't into EV/IV training and nature crap.

Why's that? I like the concept of EV training, it makes Pokemon more stronger and durable for competitive play and in-game tournaments.

Clearly, people like to play Pokemon for purposes beyond battling Pokemon with other people.
