Well, the odds are that it will be coming to the Wii U, regardless of the linked article. The only time a COD title hasn't been ported to Nintendo in the Wii era was the second Modern Warfare title. Of course, that does cause a bit of hesitation on my part to conclude it is a sure thing since said missing title was an Infinity Ward release as well.
While I think the hastily written article that was linked is a good sign, it is hardly an official announcement. At best, it is third-hand information with minimal details included.
I do think that Ghosts will be another chapter in a Nintendo port of a Call of Duty title: late in announcement, in the back of the line when it comes to developer support, and it will continue the trend (without exception) of Nintendo players getting no DLC. It isn't an ideal situation for us COD playing Nintendo fans, but I will be glad to play another round of COD on the only platform that provides motion control support for the series.
