This game hasn't been mentioned once??? I thought it came out holiday this year.. Plus there is no news and no updates about it??? I thought they said more would be at E3....

Considering we saw little of it during it's reveal, I'm guessing that the game is very early into development. We'll probably hear more of it during a future Nintendo Direct, maybe it'll be a mid to late 2014 release? Seems likely as it doesn't have any appearances at E3. It seems Yoshi's New Island (the 3DS Yoshi's Island) will be launching before it.

Don't put all of Yoshi's eggs in one basket. A lot was announced, and a lot is coming within the next 6 months and year.
I am sure it will be talked about next Nintendo Direct. Sometimes less is more, let the other titles shine for now.

I'm going to guess that sometime between now and the year's end we will get a Nintendo Direct mentioning it. This direct will explain just a few more details, maybe a solid release date and then we'll hear nothing until the next one, where it will be detailed further and then finally the game releases. No real fanfare or celebration.
