Animal Crossing: New Leaf has come out of the gate strong in North America. Nintendo wrote on Facebook yesterday that the game’s community has reached 200,000 players – that translates to 200,000 units in sales.

I just bought it earlier this evening. I had never played an Animal Crossing game before and thought it looked kind of boring but all the hype convinced me to give it a shot and I'm enjoying it so far.

I got it day 1, and it is very very fun, and for anyone who recently got it, it gets better and better each day with new stores, new people moving in, new events, shop items changing, all kinds of things. Each month different fish/insects/events/ect are available bc of the seasons and what not, Great game

That's awesome, hopefully the same thing will be true for Wii U now more people have tried it at Best Buy and E3 with games like Zelda and Smash coming out too, but back on topic, this is awesome news, I really need to get this game once I have some money and I'm able to pay off my preorders for Pokemon X and Watch_Dogs.
