I think he only said that they tried hard to make anti-piracy. The closest he came to admitting piracy is that he used to have a modded Wii and that he liked the homebrew browser.tl;dr much?

I don't know much about hackers and their "bot" abilities, but we've got a lot of people who
don't like Nintendo for all kinds of different reasons. I wouldn't put it past one of them to attempt
wreaking a little havoc on the company's online system. but Nintendo has been pretty solid with their
online presence so far. Here's hoping they can maintain a sound structure.

I think it'll happen, there are always people better than the manufactures engineers, although (I know this is slightly off topic) I don't think we'll see anything like we seen on the PSN. It's obvious we'll see hackers/bots of some kind.

I think they will make updates to get rid of them, and then the nerd will make it work on the new os and Nintendo will release another update and so on... So I think it will be just something for Nintendo to fight with. They might even do like they said with 3DS and threaten to brick your system if you have a bot on it.

Bots are expected. People always like trying to show off their technological skills by creating bots and other software on consoles. They usually don't give up until they succeed, which is annoying.
