Beginning at the 3:18 mark

For those who don't want to watch, Phil Spencer goes on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the Xbox One, and when they begin the Forza 5 segment, Fallon asks if its been created for Xbox 360 and Spencer says no, and that Xbox One is taking advantage of 3x the power of the Xbox 360.

I'm thinking he may have messed up his words a little there, but if its true than Wii U is pretty good in terms of power I guess! Keep in mind that Xbox One will feature Cloud Computing though...

Beginning at the 0:21 mark

The System Architect Mark Cerny says that they targeted 10x as powerful as the PS3. Not sure if this means it actually is, or if that was a goal and they hid the fact that they couldn't achieve it but based on what we've seen it's likely that it is.

It probably is about 3x as powerful. At least with a figure like that, he probably isn't telling a fib.

He probably just meant that Forza 5 is using 3X as much power, not that the system itself is only that much more powerful. Not to mention Cloud Computing is not only most likely a load of marketing BS, but also probably not going to be available right away now that you don't need to check online every day.

10 times is a numbers game. The guy picked some random stat, probably the RAM capacity and quoted that difference as a marketing ploy.

I agree with this. I think it is at least 5X as powerful. Although without the always online stuff will there still be cloud computing?

It may happen for online games, but it won't be as likely for offline games.

RAM is around 16x more than PS3 so it's gotta be something else...hmmm lol

the only xbox game that i like is Halo, xbox one isn't worth it [ imo ] plus i don't like kinect

If this is true then I expect to see the watch_dogs and assassins creed ports to be very comparable between wiiu and xbox one. If not.....heads will roll.

... M$only 3x why do i feel like they are tring to make a buffer wiiu. Consule basic design lines up(and gave them issues ninty solved that others claim shouldnt be possible). They tried to sell at minimul loss. Honosty no pr buff bs(looking at u sony). This makes me really sceptable of ps4 BS stats like ps2 and3 to look buffer than it is

 Both of those demos were better than Nintendo's on Fallon.  None of the 3 devs were great showmen but that little clip of Mario 3D you see constantly is the worst god damn piece of material you could show people to get them excited I've ever seen.  Ugh.

killer instinct  was a failure at its age... I wonder if it works after all these years. 

 

I remember me and my friends bought it, because it had the most amazing graphics at its time.. (something like that).. but... nah...

I don't care how powerful the console is, as long as i get good games then im satisfied.
