Hey everyone. I decided to check out this forum to get an idea if I would like to get the Wii U. I've been a Nintendo fan for a long time so I'm sure I'll like the Wii U. But I want to read about it more and about the games in order to decide if I want to get the console sooner or later.

Hello Johnny, Welcome to the Wii U Forums, and because i am biased i will say Get a Wii U near the end of the year, you can get ZombiU, NSMBU, Super Mario 3D Word, WInd waker HD, Pikmin 3 Etc.

You should definitely get one! But if you want a bigger selection of games, do like Chrop said and wait until later this year.

 Welcome! Depending on just how much you're itching to play I'd wait until August for Pikmin if you've got some spare cash and free time or until December to see whether there truly is a price drop or not.

Welcome to the forum.  I also agree I would wait till near the end of the year...however if you are wanting one now, still not a bad idea.  I have had a lot of fun with Mario Brothers U......sure brought back memories to when I got the NES way back in the 80s....but  its even better...Mario in HD...pretty amazing!!!

Welcome! I say do what the others say or wait till the price drops. But definitely get one though!

I got mine in mid April.  No regrets at all. I have nine titles and that has kept me more than busy.  Very excited about the new games coming out- and there's at least another half dozen that I want. Highly recommend you take the plunge.
