Anyone exited too? Also, Sony said GS will be a Vita Showcase so I hope Sony has good plans for the Vita cause I love the Vita.

Eh, nothing really ever comes out of gamescom. Don't expect too much about the Vita, its all but dead at this point. Having said that, I'd like to see them announce a Vita price cut for North America. If they don't within the next couple of months, I see no reason to support it at all.

I've already bought my ticket for Gamescom as well as booked my flight and hotel. I'll be going for all four of the public days. I'm really looking forward to it especially trying out games on the Xbox One and PS4 as well as hopefully Wii U, Vita and 3DS stuff.

I disagree. There have been big announcements at Gamescom before and I doubt this time will be any different. As for the Vita its far from dead and by your logic the Wii U is also dead which it isn't. Sony had a lot of games on show at E3 for the Vita its just that there main focus was the PS4. Everyone thought the PSP was dead for a long time and look how successful its been.

The PSP had Monster Hunter to fall back on for it's million seller, that franchise is now Nintendo exclusive. The situation Vita is in right now is completely different from the PSP.

Like I said I disagree the Vita is dead. People are coming to conclusions regards the Vita way sooner then they should be. Its still got a lot of life left in it and will likely bounce back.

Agreed.  I think it will find a market, and when it does, there are already some halfway decent games to play for it.  It really needs a price drop though.
