Of course, windwaker is my second favourite zelda ever.

Playing it again in hd will be fantastic.

It was funny how as soon as I started replaying it on the gc they announced it wii u though.

And we wear sun glasses because it hurts our eyes. If they replicate what's negative in our real life to the game, I can't say that I am going to be happy with such negative realism.

It's honestly your opinion, because to me it doesn't seem to effect me. It's just blurry waves in the distance and that's it.

I might get this game, it looks like it has faster sailing, some streamlined/repolished missions (most notably the Triforce shard search), redesigned inventory system...and of course it will be in HD.

Big Nintendo games usually never get that low.  Twilight Princess for Wii is finally $15 on Amazon in the "Nintendo Selects" version after years.  Mario Galaxy 1 is now $18.  I guess you could wait 5 years to save a few bucks.

I'm willing to wait that long I'm patient if it was a game I couldn't wait for I would pay full price but this I wouldn't mind waiting that long

I was never impressed with COD graphic so I don't know if people were buying COD for graphic. I never understood people buying COD every year and it's their fault for buying a bad game.

I am an extremely picky gamer especially when it comes to graphic. I just can't play 4:3 screen ratio, or less than 720p resolution games anymore.

However, I can't say that I prefer the art style of the new wind waker over the previous art style. This new version got too much blur effect which is my least favorite of all the graphical effects.

The blur effect doesn't really give sense of temperature. It only makes me want to puke. In my opinion, HD should always be clear and crisp color, not blurry.

Hey, real posts. You're all right.

I remember the heat shimmer quite well from cube version. They used it on several games I remember mario sunshine used it heavily as well. My guess was to hide lod changes, as well as look neat/ like a cheap dof.

I guess for people who are really affected by image quality/resolution will recieve the greatest sense of visual improvement. Thats.... not me. Iq isnt at the top of my list once we get to>=480p at a decent ppi.

What personally bothers me is the new lighting engine. Its definately a lot more advanced.... But it seems just too slick for windwakers art style. Its realistic depiction clashes with the art direction, and I dont like it as much as the more primitive but drawn/animated style in the original.

Oh well, Ill still pick this up at some point. Just because I dont want to dig out my wii/cube to replay it.... Plus, miiverse adds a lot of enjoyment to older games for me.

Nah... I mean, sure it looks nice and all, but when it comes to graphics, presentation and style is what I care about, and that part is of course the same. Plus, I actually liked the fact that the sailing took some time. If I didn't have the original and my Wii still hooked up, I would probably buy it though.

It's not like I am waiting to experience a brand new game. I've already played the game, I know exactly what happens, and what I need to do to solve the puzzles. Anyone who has actually played this game already is going to beat the game so quickly it's hardly going to be worth the $60. I think I'll wait seeing as I have the game downstairs on my shelf already.

Now, if a brand new Zelda comes out that I've never played I will buy it for $60 because I cannot wait to experience a brand new adventure.

It's like someone mentioned earlier the "HD" graphics of the remake is like watching Simpsons or Southpark in HD. It really makes no difference to me, sure there is a small improvement but I could care less.

Anyway to all buying it on day one, enjoy!
