I go by Dagwood Dang.
Why you ask? I dunno. I guess it just felt right.
Anyway, I enjoy gaming, the gaming industry, and all of it's little nuances.
I appreciate Sony, Microsoft, and any other company who brought the joy of gaming
to my life, but NINTENDO holds a special place in my heart.
I'm a little older than many of you, probably. I was there when my oldest brother got a brand new NES for his birthday
in '85. before that, the Atari 2600, and 5200 were our home consoles. When I got older, I used to collect (or strive to collect) the other
not-so-popular gaming systems that have come about over the years. Including, phillips cdi, the Atari Jaguar, 3do, etc. I have owned almost ALL
Nintendo entertainment systems that were local to my region, except for the Virtual Boy and a couple others. It was too expensive at the time.
I just enjoy solid gaming. Graphics are important enough, but a pretty game with poo for gameplay is worthless.
I'm new to the whole forum thing, so I hope I don't do anything that's against forum etiquette. I've read all the rules, and thankfully,
I'm not a hateful spamming racist, so I believe I'll be fine. I have much to talk about and I can't wait to hear what you all have to say.

I'm glad to see somebody that enjoys game collecting as much as I do.
If you need any help, feel free to ask me, or any of the other guides, or our Admins, AMAC, and Feld0 (Who currently goes by Twilight Sparkle, but will change his name back to Feld0 after awhile)

I got into video games a bit latter than you did. My first system was the Play Station, and since then I have also owned a N64, a PS2, a Wii, and a PS3. I also hope to find some of the systems that came out before my time, once I'm older and actually have the money to buy them that is. I was also new to forums when I came here, but everyone here is likable and are more than willing to help you if you have any problems. If you have any technical problems with the site you should see our administrator Feld0 (curintly going by the name Twilight Sparkle) or our moderator AMAC.
I hope to see you around on the forums.

It's a pleasure to welcome you to the Wii U Forums.
I'm Auzzie Wingman, a fellow Guide here on the Wii U. You can ask us Guides, and AMAC or Feld0 for assistance here, as Collector said.
Wow, you so old. Sometimes I get called old because I was around when the Master System was popular. I guess we're both lucky in that there is more to gaming than picking up a gun and killing zombies.
Enjoy your time here at the Wii U. I find it hard how one couldn't.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Hi there. Im superdarkyoshi. I actually am a fan of yoshi and nintendo in general. I like to write short stories and also poems as well as improving in drawing. I wish I could see the release of the NES or SNES. But, I do have the original gameboy. So, what was your favorite game back in the day?

I'm not even close to being as old as you... the first gaming system I've plaed was a SNES.
Nice to see someone who's read the rules BEFORE posting
There's a search function in the top right corner, don't forget about it!
Anyways, I'll see ya around.
P.S. I luv platformers, RPG games, Strategy and a few others. I don.t like FPS games.
P.P.S. A good game with awesome gameplay and not the best graphics is Minecraft. You seriously need to check it out. The game's website: www.minecraft.net
There's also a free version and a demo.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.
NNID: Lord of Grape Juice /PSN: Nderbert/Steam: Harmonius EX
