Seen it, and, being a huge fan of the Ratchet and Clank games, I am exceptionally excited if this IS true.

I hope David Bergeaud will return to do the music for this game, he was the best composer of the Ratchet & Clank series imo.

Puzzled as to why they wouldn't make it for the PS4. I expect a PS4 Ratchet and Clank in 2015 to coincide with the movie though, so I'm not all that surprised.

Why would they make a game based on the movie when the movie itself is based on the first Ratchet and Clank game.

I prefer they not, the first game or for that matter all of the games before R&C:ToD had darker humor, were harder in difficulty, had more threatening-looking enemys, a grittier atmosphere and had better music, all of which the newer R&C games seem to lack, i prefer them re-release Ratchet and Clank 1 as HD classic on PS4 than to do a remake of it for the sake of the movie.

Well I'd bet they're going to do something whether it be a re-release or another game.

They can't sell this one PS4 as they don't know the numbers of the projected install base.

I've been playing Ratchet & Clank since the first game on the PS2 but to be honest the PS3 releases have been crap and this one seems so unnecessary imo. It feels pretty bland, more of the same... instead I'd rather them wait a little longer for a PS4 version.

ME TOO! tools of destruction and a crack in time were amazing games, and my 1st, I'll be diving into the ratchet collection next but glad to know this game is coming and soon.

I hardly think so. You seem to have forgotten how large the PS3 install base is. Only a fraction of those will be upgrading to the PS4. PS3 games if they are of quality will sell just fine.

But you can`t forget the hype behind it and how everyone will be talking about it.
The PS3 base has been growing but the games haven`t been selling any better - in relation to the grown userbase, that is.

Regardless its likely to sell a lot more on PS3 then on PS4.
