It's only the reason I bought the Wii U at launch. And boy did that backfire. Nice seven month launch window, Nintendo. Really loved having nothing to play on my $350 system with numerous sales after purchase between then and now. It was like gaming heaven.

 

Ugh. Trying not to be negative here, but after such a long wait it's hard not to. Putting my 'Fake Positivity Hat' on, whoo, only one more month to go! Yeah!

Not gonna pre-order because there's not any kind of pre-order bonus and I'd rather wait a couple of days for feedback from reviews and stuff, since this is gonna be my first Pikmin game (aside from the Pikmin minigame on NintendoLand )

 

I don't think there's a point in waiting for a price drop on this one since it might take quite some time, considering this is a big Nintendo title... Just look at NSMBU. It's still priced between $40-$60 everywhere I see.

Ok, after I just finished playing Pikmin 1 for the first time, I'm now mega-hyped for Pikmin 3, I didn't know at first that I'm really into RTS games.

Duh I'll buy it.

It's the main reason for buying my Wii u. heard it was a release game and I must have it it. Then got sad that they push the date back but once they open up the preorders I jump on it and preorder it.

 

Can't wait for the relase tho. I'll be there that morning to get the game.

Hmm if it ever drops that low. It's rare for Nintendo first-party games. But that'd be a great deal, obviously. Maybe you can get it that low 2nd hand.

I'm still not entirely sure what kind of game Pikmin is, and I guess I haven't been interested enough to bother going to YouTube yet.  I voted that I'd get it when it's a budget game, which is true, possibly.

No, probably not. I got the original Pikmin on the GCN, and while I didn't think it was bad, it just never really caught on for me. I had a ton of favorites on the GCN, and Pikmin just never stood out for me. I'm happy for the Pikmin fans that are getting their generation-late sequel, but the series just isn't for me.
