I do not think Nintendo will do this. Nintendo has worked closely with many japanese companies before Atlus. Like Capcom on a couple Zelda games, Namco Bandai with Super Smash bros 4, Pokemon X Nobunaga's ambition, and Capcom and Namco Bandai and Sega on ProjectXZone (Monolith Soft developed it, but they are Nintendo).

definitely a possibility; Atlus has been putting out more and more games for Nintendo systems, such as the Devil Survivor series, Soul Hackers, Etrian Odyssey, and now Shin Megami Tensei IV. Furthermore, I don't see Nintendo letting SMT x FE die. The thing is, pretty much EVERY Japanese pub has issues right now. CAPCOM just laid off staff (though it was from their American branch), SEGA has been having money troubles for awhile, Square Enix is a mess, Sony is on the brink of the PS4, etc and I doubt Western companies would even cast a second glance at Atlus.

I think this is something we all want. Atlus becoming an exclusive first or second party(?) would be great. A really good third party Japanese dev right there. Atlus may make niche games, but that would become an exclusive market only on Nintendo systems. Dang, that's exciting.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.
