Lets cut the crap, lets stop tip toeing around this issue, its the million dollar question for any nintendo or just tech/gadget fan,
"At E3 next year, what if, Nintendo announce a new wiiu+ console, a new upgraded machine that competes with the more powerful new breed of consoles, that no developer can criticize.
Would you forgive nintendo and buy one?

No one who already owns a Wii U would be happy with this. It wouldn't help Nintendo financially either because no one would buy it, and as others have said it still wouldn't have a lot of support from third party developers.

Its not meant to be a hard hitting real life question, its just a fantasy thought kinda question. For FUN. If it bugs you, why read it, and more importantly why respond?? Now go back to your shell and stay there until you open your mind a little x

I don't get these types of comments...along with the "Nintendo should just follow Sega's path" ridiculous arguments. The Wii U doesn't have the graphics of the PS4 or XB1, we all know that...there's no reason it can't still be used for playing games. If you look at the 3DS, it clearly doesn't have what the Vita has, but it has the library to back it and that's what sells consoles. The Wii U needs to grow its library before people will buy it.

That's stupid.
The problem with this next generation and Nintendo is x86 processors and ppc differences, which are huge.
If they made a Wii U + they're have to abandon the Wii U completely, as it'd be 9001 worlds apart.

Also, they're not trying to dreamcast themselves.

If Nintendo will give everyone who brought a WiiU a new WiiU+ then YES !

 

If not, no, would anyone buy a WiiU+ ?

 

I have owned a WiiU since launch & i wouldn't pay money for a WiiU+ & i am a Nintendo fan ! the people who have not already got a WiiU wouldn't buy a WiiU+ either & even if Nintendo did want to release a WiiU+ it would take a couple of years at least.

 

Just face the facts, the WiiU is dead, you have spent your money on a console that will be remembered as a failure, just call the ball & live with your decision i have.
