Monster Hunter Frontier G, which was already released for the PC and XBox 360 earlier this year, will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Wii U later this year.
You can read more on this story after the break:
Monster Hunter Frontier G is an upgraded version of Monster Hunter Frontier, which will be featuring new monsters, areas, weapons, armors, quests, and actions for all available weapons.
The Wii U version can be played using the GamePad and the Wii U Pro controllers, but it will not work using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Capcom is currently researching and testing what other features can be used with the 3DS for the new Wii U version. Both the Playstation 3 version and Wii U version of the game will include a unique beginner’s pack which includes weapons and armor.
Monster Hunter Frontier G will not be available for cross-play with the older versions of the game. It is currently unknown if the Playstation 3 and Wii U will be sharing servers and allow cross-play between these two new versions.
Before the game is released, you will be able to play the game for a week for free. The game will have a monthly fee to play in Japan, however, the download will be free while the physical copies will cost 6,090 yen. Monthly fees are 1,400 yen for 30 days or can be purchased with Wii U points.
It is currently unknown if the game will be localized for western audiences.
Monster Hunter Frontier G will be available for the PlayStation 3 on November 20th and Wii U on December 11th.
