Nintendo should make retail boxes for 2ds games the only difference just make them with no option for 3d. 

Parents would buy the kids the games that they had the console on them for and even if they buy the 3ds version it still works.

 

Collectors would buy 2 copies just to have both of them and even give the games different box art. Even if not every game special games like Mario, Zelda, ect. should get their own 2ds retail cases. I know this might sound like a rip off but it would really market to the dumb people in society these days. Nintendo would be making double the sales on the same product.

Assuming that what you're saying is they make games that would disable 3d even on a 3ds, what if someone bought a 2ds game for their 3ds? Even considering all the confused parents we already have?

Would seem awfully shady. Nintendo's reputation would be trashed pretty quickly for such a scheme.

Yeah, i don`t think people would buy that.

Speaking of covers, i hope Nintendo is taking care of that so people don`t think the "3DS" in the box means it`s only for 3DS.

At the very least every game should have a reversable cover or something.

Or people could just, like, pay attention and research the crap they're going to buy for hundreds of dollars.
