Guitar Hero was discontinued a while back.
As for Rock Band, I'm not sure what the status is with that. Seems like that fad has come and gone.

Nobody will ever take my Rock Band 3 away from me. Or my almost 1,000 songs. Or my Stage Kit. Still play it every Christmas with the family.

LAME! I guess I will have to get a real drum kit... but the immediate gratification isn't there.
