At least it's still in the 5,000 range. Not to mention those 3ds sales figures.

So in just two days, MH4 surpassed the lifetime sales of everything there except NSMB 2, ACNL, and MK7. 

And the 3ds sales are 3.45x what they were the previous week.

 

It will be interesting to see the numbers over the next couple weeks

You just confirmed what I said actually. The PSP is selling more units in Japan.

A price drop isn't really going to change consumers minds, what Nintendo needs is advertising AND LOTS OF IT.

They really should take advantage of the Pokemon X/Y frenzy to promote the WiiU somehow. Maybe a discount on purchase.

My point is that lot of folks who are wanting this, might have held off- and I think there are plenty of people who want the Zelda bundle.
