I just picked up a WiiU WW edition. Are there any accessories that you recommend?

I already have a Wii with controllers and tons of batteries :) should I invest in a charging station? There are a lot on Amazon, which company should I go with?

What about covers for the controllers?

Thanks in advance!

Nintendo has an official wireless charger for the wii remotes.

The Wii remotes should come with covers.

I'd say maybe this: http://www.decalgirl...ii-U-Skin-Retro

I've never been one to buy covers and that sort of thing.  The only thing I can think of off-hand is to check out the Wii U Pro Controllers if you are interested in that kind of controller.

For me personally the most worthwhile investment I've made in an accessory was a good wireless headset.

The Wii remote comes with a jacket, for gamepad? I would suggest looking online.

As for a charging station I would say get one that is liscensed by Nintendo.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

My WiiU just came in the mail and I found that it came with a charging station already.

No sleeve or cover for the controller however.

I'd get a USB charging cable for your cradle if you've got USB ports near your TV (like on your Wii U for example).
It frees up the plug to be wherever you're playing your upad from, like the couch across the room.

My question would be, why?  Do you actually need a cover?

I don't use a cover on any of my peripherals as they just make them heavier.

Why the gamepad protection? Normally I wouldn't care but I'm a huge Zelda fan and want to preserve the condition of the special edition hardware, while still using it.

I was thinking maybe even a hard case. This one is on Amazon for $16:

Ah good point, I suppose those details around the edge could wear off.

Assuming they are as good as the Zelda 3DS, I wouldn't worry about it; I've dropped it on hardwood, snow, and even a piss-filled toilet and the marks are still good (it stopped working for a few days after that though)

Edit: I thought the word piss was censored. Whatevs.

I wiped it much as I could amd it doesn't smell bad, but I wouldn't let you touch it anyway.

I mean, there's still the thought that it was submerged in urine. Even if you know that it's fine, the thought that it happened still stays.

Picked up some screen protectors. I hate them but at least I don't have to worry about the screen as much.
