Thanks for the tip! I've switched over to give Shop To a try (not used them before).

I use them all the time and most of my preorders are made with them. I typically always get mine the day before release.

Answers in italicized bold.

Its now an average of 91 after seven reviews.

You don't gotta quote me every time it gets a new review. Of course it's going to get good ratings, it's basically a re-release of the original.

Just because its a rerelease of an old game doesn't automatically mean it will get good reviews. The reason why this game is getting consistently good reviews is because the original was already a great game and this new version happens to improve upon it and address the issues that the original had.

But you explicitly said "I'm fairly certain that Duke Nukem Forever/Big Rig Racing also got at least one very good review somewhere." as an answer to the statement that it at least had gotten one good review. This is kind of the opposite of "Of course it's going to get good ratings...". I don't care if people are wrong, but I do care if you're not admitting it.

It's called sarcasm.

OK, so that was a self-sarcastic way of admitting you were wrong. It was kind of convoluted. Sorry about being a little assy about it then.

On topic: Reading the reviews, it seems they actually improved quite a bit on the game, which was already great, so apart from the price being a bit high for an old game, it actually looks interesting for everyone who never played the original. And maybe even those who did. Just wish I could use the wiimote+nunchuk for shooting though...

I don't know why it's significantly higher on the Wii U in the US. Here in the UK it is higher but only by £2-£3. Whilst on principle it should be the same price the margin here is not that much and I would say anyone who hasn't played the game really should and shouldn't let the price put you off.

Being regarded as the best version for this console release. IGN gave it a 8.3 but praised unique features for gamepad bumping it above other versions.

I've had a couple of sessions playing it and it is a good effort in enhancing a great game. It is cool having the datapads/news/inventory on the gamepad and does add to immersion to actually be entering the key codes/hacking on the gamepad.

The graphics are good ingame and actually better than the cutscenes - which is something I think was the same on the Mac/PC version.

I'm struggling a bit to adapt from having completed it on the Mac with keyboard and mouse to using the gamepad. Maybe I shouldn't be going lethal on the Give me Deus Ex difficulty - I'm not at all a console FPS expert :D

Well worth the money even if you've played (and enjoyed!) the game before and even more so if you missed it the first time round.

I really wish they had a demo ...im very interested but want to play it as more of a shooter than stealth ... but when i ask around everyone says you can play it both ways ... but they decided to go stealth ....anyone taking the shooting stance?
