EAD2 is pretty much confirmed to be doing the next AC as they said they were deliberating on which system they were going to put it on. EAD4, probably not a Yoshi game, definitely not a 2D Mario and I doubt they wanna make another Pikmin game considering how long Pikmin 3 has been in dev for. I'd say a new IP is a safe guess for EAD4, also since Myiamoto was heavily involved with the studio's creation of Pikmin 3. Intelligent Systems could be making a Paper Mario or it could be Fire Emblem. Considering the whole Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensai I would say its gonna be Paper Mario. Next Level Games? Maybe Mario Strikers for the Wii U or the HD port of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon that was rumored? Monster Games, well there was a rumor a few months ago about them creating a new Diddy Kong racing. Ironically a month later, they were the ones developing DKCR:3D. So maybe there is some truth to it. But also, the possibility of a FZERO for 3DS or a Wave Race I don't think should be ignored.

Mario Strikers on the Gamecube is a favorite when all my friends get together and play up here at college.

Sport games are a regional thing. Here in Canada, it's mostly hockey and american football. In the US, it's more american football and baseball. Japan is probably just baseball. South America and most of Europe is soccer/football. I can Russia liking hockey games too.

 

Also, everyone their favorite. If you like soccer/football, you'll play that. Etc.

 

On thread, Colinx pretty much summed it up. However, you forgot about Camelot. I think they pretty much are on Nintendo sports game when they need to be done. I'm thinking Mario Gold 3DS at the moment. When they don't have anything, I hope it'll happen someday because they have a small team, they work on the new Golden Sun. There's a 7-years gap between Lost Age and Dark Dawn. So... 2017 is pretty much when I'll start to believe in a long awaited sequel. Tbh, DD was a let down simply because of its various gameplay flaws (i.e. Points of no returns; even after-game).
