This is SonofMrPeanut! Glad to see you've got a forum going, feld0.

I'm a male college student who lives in La Mirada, CA but goes to Cal State Long Beach. My main game: Music. I'm a singer (high baritone) and my focus is opera (but I'm very flexible). I also play guitar and bass and can make a great percussion instrument out of whatever single object/environment is available. Just don't put me behind a kit, as I get lost. I took piano for 6 years, and now I'm reaquiring my skills after a hiatus.

I also do a mix-series called Radio Oz. I'll be setting up an online archive very soon, so stay tuned if you wanna check out my work.

I love TV. When I was a wee-lad, my first sentence was "This is CBS."

Good food? Let me at it. If it doesn't hit the uvula the wrong way, I'll down it.

As for games, put them in front of me and watch me die repeatedly. ;) Seriously, though, I'm probably an intermediate who can hold his own but not a marathon winner. Point the way to whatever game, I'll probably have fun with it. I may not like it, but I'll never know until I give it a go.

I'm also a Phil Hartman fan. Just thought I'd toss that out there.

You look familiar - right, you subscribed to me on Youtube! And you're a regular commenter at the blog, as I can see from your email address (though you go by a different name there). Welcome; it's great to have you here!

It's also nice to see that we're getting a lot of musicians here; I'm about to start a new project on the side, and it seems I might get a few users for it from here. 'Fraid I can't say any more than that, 'cause it's a top-secret idea and all. wink.png Myself, I've played piano for ten years, tuba for about six, and bass trombone for a little over two. I'm also a hobbyist composer, and enjoy writing music just for the fun of it.

Have you checked out Stomp? They use absolutely everything for drums...except drums. biggrin.png Look 'em up on Youtube.

Our opinions differ very much on TV, but we definitely share one for food. Put me in front of a table of good food, and watch me make Yoshi proud.

We also seem to be at a similar level of proficiency in video games. All I have to say to that, though, is that practice honestly makes perfect. I was utterly pathetic in Brawl when my friends and I first got it, but after putting in two weeks or so of hard training, I can now cream them with the world's cutest little dinosaur. I'm also known for my skills in Super Mario Galaxy, being the only one among the people I hang out with to have collected all 484 stars between both of the games.

Again, it's awesome to have you here, SonofMrPeanut; and I hope you enjoy your stay! Feel free to poke me anytime if you have any questions or need anything. biggrin.png That's what I'm here for.

Haha, same here.
I'm no musician (all I can do is write), but I like to think I'm good at hitting things with a rythm - mostly my thighs and palms. :D Oh, and I agree with the Feldian guy about Stomp; I watched them live, and they're nothing short of awesome.
Also as I once told Feld0 in a WLM chat, suicide is the only thing that never gets old in any game. It's a great stress reliever, too, since you can't fail to kill your character.

Welcome to the forums.

These are my dragon persona Darren's parents. Or Darrents, if you will.

Unless we're talking about Kirby's Epic Yarn. ;) But yeah, that's fun.

I am fully aware of Stomp. I actually remember seeing them on Space Ghost: Coast 2 Coast as a kid. That's right, I'm 21. Whatcha gonna do? I'll drink. Not yet, though, cause it's only about 1:30 here. I actually have a couple Guiniess stouts left, so I should get on those. Maybe save one for Christmas, one for New Years. 8-)

Glad to be here.

Edit: Response to Feld0, I don't have SMG2 yet but I have 100%-ed Galaxy 1. Like I said, I'm more experienced than the av-er-age gamer, but I wouldn't enter tournies.
