Surprising I can say... 1 million and people are still in the line for more than 20 hours, to get 1 and all that, in north America only!...  What is it!! A golden egg? Things are very vogue for wii U sales...

3.9 million in one year (so almost 4 million). It sold 400,000 in its first week, meaning 10% of its total sales were by a bunch of die-hard fans who wanted to buy it at launch. 

 

I don't think PS4 will continue to sell that much until the end of this fiscal year: most people who wanted it already bought it. But it's still not a good sign for Nintendo. I hope their sales pick up. I'm predicting 6 million for this fiscal year.

 

That being said, 1 million units is still an impressive achievement, so congratulations to them. I would be happier if we didn't hear a lot of those bricked stories.

It'll pick up. the Wii was almost a fluke in it's instant smash hit. The 3DS took a little while to catch on, and look where it is now.

No matter what, it's clear already we're not looking at another Virtual Boy.

I actually REALLY doubt that. But I might be wrong, it's sold well so far.

When it comes here ( Australia ) and Europe it will be at 3 mil already. Check back here in two weeks..

There's definitely going to be a massive boost in PS4 sales when it launches in Europe. I reckon that could be another million in the bag for Sony by the end of the year.
