This pops up at around two minutes in this video.

So are pokemon gameboy games coming to eshop or is gamesradar trolling?

if true seems like you could send the pokemon from those games to pokemon bank.

Meh, pokemon red is the only pokemon game I've ever put time into and I still play it from time to time on my colour, no need to get it on the eshop

It's too good to be true, so I severely doubt it. It'd make things just too dang easy and fun.

While it would be genius for Nintendo to release the older versions with the pokebank, they're not gonna do it. Plus the older games would most likely have to be altered to account for things like natures and such. UNLESS of course they programmed it so that pokemon coming from other games would have things like natures allocated to them randomly. I doubt it, but it's possible.

Still, I'd love to get the chance to go through the originals again.

I thought it was originally confirmed that you could only transfer Pokemon from Generation V and beyond?

Would love to see Generation I and II on the eShop, though. The portable VC just isn't anywhere near complete without the games that made me take portable gaming seriously to begin with.

If this were true, wouldn't it make more sense to release FireRed and LeafGreen since the original games have those odd glitches? Not to mention that the first gen is really outdated. Of course, they would have to release HeartGold and SoulSilver too which was for the DS.

Thy should really release both. The original games have nostalgia factor for many of the people who bought a 3ds for x and y, the remakes have the functionality of newer games while going through the playthrough.

Looks shopped, you'd think they would have the decency to fit the games into the box.

Doubtful since natures didn't exist the first gen.

If they plan on releasing Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, and Ruby/Sapphire, then why not Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Firered, and Leafgreen? Put all of the gameboy pokemons there.

It would be too difficult because they would have to somehow give RBGS pokemon Natures and Abilities and they would have to completely change the IV system of the older games; that was why you couldn't transfer pokemon from Gen 2 to Gen 3.

Fair enough.

I really hope it's real, but something about this really screams fake... I doubt they would release all those classic Pokemon games at once. Also, BW is on there, but not BW2.

That image would suggest that you could transfer from any generation... would be VERY interesting.

Also, this trailer was just released today saying you can only transfer from BW/BW2, so pretty doubtful this image is real.

I don't know why it would be real.  It's in some random persons video and not from a Nintendo source.

Unless I see the imagine from Nintendo themselves then I'll go on believing it's shopped to grab peoples attention
