3days of no school this week, the same thing happened last school year, and they shortened the Christmas vacation by one week for only our school, not the others.

Hey guys, as some of you know there's a Hurricane around in Middle America... it's called Hurricane Rina.
Here is an image of where the Hurricane is and where I am:
I'm the little circle spot where the line is pointing at. i.e. an island
We might have to evacuate out of our house and into a concrete hotel and go into the second of third stories. Our house is only made of wood and only around 1 meter (3-ish feet) from sea level.
There might be no internet for days, or power for days, or some other problem. It's supposed to turn northward (like 80%probability) but in the moment it is only going Westward. There's gonna be another forecast at 6pm tonight (in 50min for me).
We'll see what we do after it and what we'll do tomorrow. If we'll put everything into high places in our house, if we'll go to the hotel, what we're gonna do with my dog and cat (prolly gonna take 'em to the hotel.)
We'll see, but I just wanted to tell you guys. I may not be in real danger of dying (I am, but I'm in a protected place) Sadly, our house may fly away, and then we'd only have what we'd have been carrying with us. We're actually trying to sell the house and lot, because we're going back to Switzerland next summer, but we'll see about that
