I wonder if NIntendo actually has to worry about the PS4 when it comes out in Japan. The reason I say that is because there doesn't seem to any games on the PS4 right now or the very near future that seem to cater to the Japanese market. Sure it may top the chart for a week or so, but I don't see it lasting long because of the lack of games directed towards Japanese gamers.

The "Japanese gamer" taste is evolving. Well done western style games are increasing in popularity amongst gamers (as well as developers).

Bayonetta 2 will probably flop, so I don't think it will have much of an impact during the next holiday season.
