Believe me, I love the Legend of Zelda. But when I get to a really hard puzzle, unlike other people, I feel a bit disappointed. Is there any Zelda-type game excluding the puzzles? Possibly Kingdom Hearts?

The first thing I thought when I played this game (2 hours ago) was: This is basically a boss-only Zelda game. You don't get as much equipment (sword and arrows only) but discovering the colossis' weakness is challenging enough.
Can you find 'em all?

Lemme think for a while and I'll get back to you :P

Wait... people played Zelda for the action?!

WUT IS THIS MADNESS?!?!?!

I don't know, Assassin's Creed and Prototype are the first things that come to mind, and I know they are wrong answers as well.

It's time to prove sarcastic post wrong: Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, Star Wars (maybe), Half Life, Chrono Trigger, etc. But yet Zelda has the best stories, 60% of the reason why I play it.

Most of those games involve some sort of puzzle. But one thing they all have that Zelda doesn't, is an actual timeline and a stable story.

Well, I was thinking more of plot complex, not actual gameplay puzzles.

OK, I think we're getting a bit off-topic. I'm looking for a game that's a Zelda game without the puzzles that's on a Ninty system. Short terms: Yes, a hack and slash with good story

Why didn't you say so from the beginning?

Get Children of Mana for the DS. It's an awesome game, with a good story and hack-and-slash :D

You could also get Sword of Mana, which is for the GBA.

Alternatively, there's also Secret of Mana for SNES/Wii Virtual Conosle.

All 3 of them are awesome. Trust me on that. Just remember, it started with Secret of Mana ;) (It doesn't matter if you haven't played one of them as there isn't a lot of references to the other games.)

The price is from high to low ;) (The VC game is around 800 Nintendo points. Also, get 1 or 2 friends for it. It'll be more fun ^_^ )

Tales of Symphonia(wii) except it's not a hack n slash game but the story and gameplay is great anyway. You should try it out if you haven't

(the game is a RPG but use more of a hack and slash battle system than the turn based system.)

Mmm...so that's a double no for Colossus. Too bad.

Well, I don't really know of too many games like Zelda (for Nintendo consoles, anyway) that have a good story but don't really have puzzles. You might be sort of interested in Okami; it's not really a Zelda style game in that you get a bunch of gear, but it has some simple, yet visceral combat and is pretty light on the puzzles. It also has a neat (if not weird) story.

I like my ponies to be a little mixed up. And with Muffins.

I might be interested in that. I heard a lot of good things about it. I knew it had puzzles, but I didn't know how hard they were. That confirms it. I'm begging my mom to get that game after I finish Skyward Sword. :P
