We got our WII U for Christmas. We were getting invalid disc error messages and read that we needed to download a system update. It took over a day but we finally got it downloaded and applied. Now all of our old WII discs are read and the games can be played but all of the WII U discs still give an invalid disc error message! Obviously this is frustrating to the kids and myself.

My question is: where do I go to get information on this? Should I call Nintendo or can I get better help online through a user board? I would really like to be able to see the HD abilities that the WII U should provide.

Try and return the discs to your retailer.<br />If the replacement discs don't work, then go to Nintendo repair site for your region, the European one is excellent at dealing with problems. No idea about the American version.
