Hey guys! I have a really good idea for a new star fox game. Star Fox Academy, a game where young Fox McCloud learns how to fly his Airwing. He'd have challenges to beat, races to win and courses to complete. And during this time he can go into battle possibly too. And I think Sega and Nintendo should work together for this game. What you think?

Sounds like a furry version of a high school anime. Also no Krystal.
I second no Krystal. However, it wouldn't really (in my mind) have any school drama. Think Sonic All Star Racing, but mostly in flight mode and more challenges. Obviously, there would be tank, car and sub marine modes too.

Too many times they tried messing with the formula and each time it sucks. Just make a HD Starfox game that plays like SF64/SF SNES. No mnore alt no more gimmicks no more anything but a tried and true classic Starfox game. KISS

No, I didn't mean "this game better not have Krystal". I mean, if you want the series to go back in time, it can't possibly have Krystal.
Which would suck, because Fox is a jock and a jock with no girl won't do in a high school and/or equivalent. That's like playing Persona and not hitting on every chick you could.

I feel like a Star Fox game in the vein of the n64 would almost be like "MegaIndie" style. Like an on rails shooter like that could probably be made into more o an Indie game with lots of polish than a full $60 retail game.

Meh, from the way you describe it it sounds like more of the tutorial for the actual star fox than the actual star fox. He can only possibly go into battle?
Tbh I just want a normal star fox game, give me more of what I love and nothing else.

This sounds more like a backstory to a big online multiplayer mode with custom characters than a single player thing.

Mainly, I am playing Sonic Racing and I love the flying modes. Makes me think of Staf Fox!
