Hey guys.

Just recently, while I was on Miiverse, I noticed that the screen would keep scrolling downwards without my consent. The left stick was scrolling downwards (really slowly) constantly.

Just wondering if any of you guys had this problem, and whether you could suggest a fix for it. Could it be due to heat, since it is 41 degrees Celsius right now?

I know older remotes had a problem where the stick would get stuck in whatever position it was in when the controller was turned on/plugged in, so it might be that but I don't know.

Sometimes when starting an app or turning on a system and udge the analog or touch it it gets locked into that. Restart. if that's not it you may have something gummed up in there

Yeah, that worked. I thought it may have been that at first, too, except I thought the Wii U would be too advanced to have that problem. Eh, I guess I was wrong. Thanks anyway. Cheers guys.

too late. :(
Nintendo's alalog sticks read neutral position when they switch on.
That's why I try to hold back my excite when i start a game or turn a console on :(

This was in the PlayStation manual when the Saul shock with the stocks came out.

Idk if it's in the wii u manual or not. And I had this happen to my nunchunk.

But as other said it's the stock getting lock at an angleduring power up.

Just rotate the sticks and make sure they spring back to the center and then power on .

I had that problem once.

Push the stick up, get close to it and blow into the analog. Change the direction, blow again.

Nintendo has a real thing for blowing.

I remember that happening so many times with the nunchuk. I was just under the impression that the GamePad used different analogue sticks or something because it's so much newer. I guess not..
