To be honest I don't think about death at all, it'll happen when I least expect it.

I believe that you don't really die until the last time someone utters your name. Which eventually only happens if someone is cursing you for the essay they have to write on you. No matter what life goes on, so there's really no point obsessing over death (yours or another's). Doesn't mean that you should forget those that you loved, but more like remember that they were important to you while still moving on with your life at your own pace.

I have too much else to sort out before I can think about death. I don't believe in an afterlife and that doesn't really bother me, just need to make the most of the life you have which is something I need to try to do after I get myself on track.

I believe that you don't really die until the last time someone utters your name.

That's an interesting way to put it. Very interesting indeed.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

I am a Christian, so I fervently believe not only in the value of all of us as human beings in this life; but in the next

[Yes I know the title was addressed to non-believers. And I am indeed interested in the response to a question like 'how do you cope with death?'. Real talk. Excellent thread]

In other words, I love you

I'm on borrowed time with my condition so I can collapse at any moment of any day. Could be today could be 20 years from now.  In all honesty tho I came to peace with it a long time ago and just live my life as normal. Just relaxing and enjoying when I can.The only death I fear is not my own but loved ones around me. I would like my ashes to be put in a hollowed out and modified to hold em Dreamcast Shell.  Yup :P

I don't think there is an afterlife but open and welcome to the idea of it.

A person is never gone unroll there forgotten.

As long as you remember them there never gone just away.

Think about all the people you know but what about the ones you don't see any more. There basically dead since you haven't talk to them.

But that's just my outlook on things.

It's honestly a non-issue, Rather than inventing some sort of solution to make myself feel better, I just man up and say "F**k it, you only live once, I'll just enjoy what I have". So when I die, I just won't be aware, because I won't exist, so yeah, whatevs. It's pretty much just the Danny Sexbang "F**k it adjustment".

I'm an atheist I don't believe in an afterlife so I'm just trying to live a noble life and live on in the memories of my loved ones this is actually part of a quote from Marcus Aurelius' book Meditations here is the full quote if you are slightly interested.

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

Um. That sounds bad. What condition is it? I don't want you to die. Don't die. Please.

I was diagnosed with CHF(congestive heart failure) when I was 27 after 2 years working getting very very ill. Now disabled but it was downgraded to a more general cardiomyopathy.

I have an ICD in my chest now so a real life cyborg lol. I feel fine tho. Pretty much never notice it's there or any problems. The reality is there but I just keep on truckin and enjoying every day as best I can. Thanks for the post tho.

I sort of live how you live, except I'm a risk-taker, so I take a different approach to life that wouldn't be friendly to the rules here.

That's how you have to live life. No matter what challenges you face in life, your still life still continues, living the best way you can is the best way to cope with it.

I've always admired risk takers but have never been one it's just something that I know I will only live once but because I will only live once I would like to take a safe road to make sure I make it to the end of my life happy and with out too many complications and I feel like to take a risk you have to stick with your decision to take that risk and persevere even though it's hard and that's just not me fortunately/unfortunately not really sure which one

I went skydiving this past October, it was a different experience. It changed me, nonetheless its made me think a lot of life philosophy in general.

For me death is the final puzzle piece falling into place.

Ever since my first encouter with death I've been able to look at it quite objectively. It isn't something to be sad about, there is no reason to bargain nor a reason for anger, it's the way life works without death there's no life and the other way around.

A Christian here, but, if I am wrong, I suppose the afterlife will be experienced the same way I experienced the earth during the middle ages. Or during WW 2. Perhaps the same way it was when I was experiencing the Great Depression. I am 28 today, so let me put it in perspective, everything before this day in 1986 is how it will be after death. Emotion comes in to change that, yet I am positive the experience is the same if you cease to exist.

I dunno, death is just that, you live, breath then die, I've kinda just accepted that it's going to happen one day, so might as well just enjoy life and it'll come eventually. I also believe nothing happens when you die. You die and it'll be exactly like it was before you was born. Nothing

lhKtSmX.png?2 Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.
