On a sunny morning I tried opening the WiiU Forums but received a notice that the forums were offline. A refresh did the trick but the scenario still reminded me to a time when our unofficial xboxforums we're hacked and taken offline. Back then we had no back-up scenario, (we did back-ups though) I mean in a way in which we (the users) could find each other in case the forum were fubar. We got it back online and no harm was done. But what if the admins (who I selden see) decide to not take the effort anymore and let the forums die...(or not re-animate it after a crash).

 

Are our bonds deleted with it? Most of you have NNID's but I only connected with a couple of you. Maybe you'll see some invites in the next couple of days ;)

Until feldo loses interest in ponies, WUF won't go down.  We're on the same server and being paid for by the ad revenue from the MLPF.

A "crash" of a website is pretty much 100% automatable.

A reboot which any decent server host should offer, fixes everything.

I don't see feld0 fiddling with forum code and being too dumb to undo what he last did.

If Feld0 is making money, it's not going to go. So until the day he stops making money, we're fine. I'd say just add them on other sites and programs to make sure you don't lose touch with the people you met here.
