I was thinking of grabbing this game today. Just curious how everybody is liking it so far? I've watched some reviews but I fealt like getting your guys take on it

I didn't have it for the wii so that's fine, it will feel new to me haha

It's pretty fun! The controls are a bit awkward at first if you've never played a Donkey Kong game, but once you get the hang of it, it's totally epic! Just a warning, it can be a bit difficult at times so remember that

I agree to an extent but the way you put it makes it sound like its just a rehash of an overused franchise (like New Super Mario Bros.)

 

The new levels, new enemies, and new characters make the game feel fresh. That, and also the fact that this is only the second donkey kong country we've had in the 21st century. 

 

I think it is a brilliant game and I agree with Gamexplain that it is the best game on Wii U so far. It is just so much fun.

I think its more then that and your description does the game an injustice. By that logic any game that is a sequel would be described the same way which is just silly.

Lovin it so far, going to take me forever to find all puzzle pieces if i want to 100 percent the game! Which I don't usually do a second play through on platformers, but I have a few months to wait for mario kart
