Probably not super shocking, but this is as close to "Well Sega canceled the project, but Nintendo revived it." as we're likely going to get.

I've seen Bayonetta 2 - I look at it every single day of my life when I'm in the office. It's really cool and the world is going to be a better place because Bayonetta 2 is in it."
