A Morris County honor student and her parents will go before a family court judge today over the teen's living expenses, even though she moved out when she turned 18 last year. The Daily Record first reported that the Morris Catholic High School senior filed her lawsuit last week, claiming they are still financially responsible for her. Rachel Canning claims her parents threw her out, but her parents say she left on her own after refusing to follow family rules.

she deserves to lose. why would you move out and then try to sue you parents for money? that's a huge dick move. and taking family to court will ruin whatever level of relationship you have for years to come.

ahhh....  Well in real life this would fail so much and the judy will throw out the case.

 

But in the crap world, the teen might win.

 

I seen cases where the woman leaves the guy and then sue for spouse support. Kinda the same thing here.

Ya you never kno anymore... people get hurt robbing a place and sue the people and win. She deserves to get thrown out of that court room.

Justice system in general is pretty balls. Heck, a fully grown man can shoot a teenage based of racist presumptions and get away scott free.
