I've done up these drawings to go into the "Please someone, make this game for me." thread.
It's my take on the Wii U Zapper,and it's hardware so I thought I would post here too.

This one is simply a buttstock added to the Wii U Zapper.
A buttstock is a must for steady shots and accurate aiming.
Also by using the foregrip and buttstock will free the back hand for accessing the touch screen.


This one the thumb stick has been moved to the foregrip. The foregrip will rotate a little left or right for comfort.
I think having the thumb stick there would feel more intuitive.

Yeah there was something similar to this shown in the E3 2011 Wii U trailer. It also showcased a Mii shooting game but obviously neither have been released thus far.

you know this would make a good 3d luigis ghost mansion game, just imagine that its in the still of the new plants vs zombies and when you shoot at a ghost you have to move the gun around like a fishing pole to tier the ghost out then, when you suck up the ghost its face appears on the game pad as its trapped in side

There was this arcade game that had a sniper rifle and you had to liok through the scope to take aim at the targets. I forgot what it was called, but something like that would be badass with this.

I know, but this arcade game in particular would be really good because it is pretty much the exact concept that they showed at E3 2011. If only I can remember what the game was called.

Yeah that is a cool concept.

While i like it, I personally prefer the hands being separate.  This allows for a right hand gesture and a left hand gesture and, potentially down the road, even more gestures with pushing the gyro to different directions.  Currently, I prefer shooters that allow me to assign what I like. ...like shaking wiimote to reload and slashing nunchuk for melee.  That said, I still might buy this.

 

Where ya could hook me for sure is getting the gamepad comfortably into a wheel for the racers!

A new thought. I wonder if NFC could be made useful in the Zapper? Personalized settings and tweaks might be able to be stored in the Zapper itself. Or some basic weapons customization that can be carried through games in a series.
