My name's Nick, but please use my Username Wertville. (If you must know, that was my first Animal Crossing town's name)
I'm 16, and I'm working hard at becoming a game programmer and learning Japanese, and I hope to one day graduate to a game designer (Don't we all).
I'm a self-proclaimed Nintendo fanboy, though I spend much more time on the computer. I love JRPGs, Strategy, Simulation and Niche games.
And... What else... I can't play many games because I don't have a job, I guess
When I get one, I hope to pick up a ton of classics that I've missed over the past few years.
Well, that's all... Hopefully I can be a welcome member of this community

Of course, I'm still a beginner, so I should be making more short-term goals. 95%+ in Computer Science is good for now XD

Hey there Nick; it's awesome to see you made the effort to tell us about yourself, even if that's not exactly your strong suit.
It seems we're both taking the same route to becoming a game designer. I dream of being Miyamoto's successor someday; so right now, I'm working hard (well, not really; I find it wicked fun) in my programming course, and am currently getting 99.4% in it.
Japanese? Wow, that's cool! I have six Mario and Yoshi mangas that need to be translated; maybe you could help, if you're interested? I always wanted to learn Japanese myself, and I sat down and studied with my computer for about 3 hours, during which I learned about 20-30 words; but I haven't been able to find any time to do so again since.
Well, time for me to introduce myself to you. I'm Peter, the site's admin and (probably) proudest Yoshi fan. My interests reach from software development to symphonic composition to (fan) fiction writing; and I've always been an overachiever as far as school goes. Let's see...I'm also involved in an annual robotics competition and speak three languages fluently.
So again, welcome to the Wii 2 Boards! We're a friendly bunch here, so don't feel shy about posting or starting new threads. And if you ever need help, have something to submit to the blog, or just want to chat, feel free to shoot me an email or private message anytime.

Well, it's not that it's hard to talk about myself, but rather, it's awkward to greet someone you don't know... Tenfold if it's the internet, where you know no one!

I hope to one day see you in his place, and perhaps a game where Yoshi takes over
As for myself, I don't really want to succeed anyone... I would much rather make a name for myself. Although I'm not sure if that will be possible in 10 or 20 years...
And, I'm not actually working hard in my programming class... Heck, I don't work hard in any class. It's all a game, you see, and as long as I think of it that way, the easier life will be. Until I miss that needed one up mushroom. (I completely lost my point here, but I like the metaphor, so I'll just say it: 95% at mid-term, I hope my final project, a complex rasing-simulation game, will boost my

I would, but I'm only learning so far
I'm only at around 270 Kanji, out of the needed 2000 some to be considered literate. And so the only actual words I know are... Well... Watashi, Boku, Baka,

Hi Peter! (Wow, that is weird saying that halfway through a - BACK TO THE SUBJECT!)
You'll have to post some of you're compositions, and Fan Fictions! I've been wanting to learn an instrument(Keyboard), and people say I'm a good writer, I'm even writing a story now. Sort of. I'll get around to it, OK?
School for me is... Meh. I do well, I guess, but I don't study and rarely do homework :/ Despite that, I've gotten 95% in both Math and Computer Science, the former has most likely gone down a bit, the latter up.
I can speak one language fluently... And even though I live in Canada... I know very VERY little French.

Didn't you say the exact same thing somewhere else? ... I SMELL A ROBOT! (JK JK, don't worry, I'll have plenty of bad jokes to upstage that one.)
P.S. If I lost my formality halfway through the post... Well, that happens a lot. Especially if I'm tired :/
PLEASE don't let me ever offend anyone, even slightly! Just call me out on it and I'll stop
Though it doesn't usually get that extreme.

Hello, Wertville. Good to know I'm not the only one who loves making tasteless jokes. ;P
I'm a brainless student claiming to be a scientist, and aspiring Yoshi artist. But I happen to be a proud licensed author and willful thinker.
I am also the only non-gamer on these forums; I'm just kinda... there.
Please accept this kind welcome from a fellow newbie.
These are my dragon persona Darren's parents. Or Darrents, if you will.
