Starting April 3rd for Europe, Advance Wars will be the first GBA game available on Wii U with more confirmed to be released over time.

My TV will be on standby for these, love playing VC games just on the gamepad, that feels like how they should be played. Miiverse communities too most likely.

Review by Nintendolife. 9/10 and quite possibly the coolest feauture for GBA games on Wii U

"Lastly, the digital manual for this (and most likely all) GBA games is a little different than normal — it's not a simple-looking guide explaining the controls and little more, but rather the actual manual from the original GBA release, fully scanned and readable."

Did they do this with any other Virtual Console game? If not, maybe they did this because the manual would be vital to a certain trio of very successful Game Boy Advance games that totally should be on the Virtual Console...

Downloaded this today and first time playing. Man the music is so 90's! I love it! This maybe a Nintendo game but feels so SNK! Man sad I passed this series up back in the day.

Me too, wasn't really into strategy games when the originals came out but loving it so far. £6.29 for a classic is such a good price.

I downloaded it yesterday. Still going through tutorial missions, but it's definitely fun. Very similar to Fire Emblem.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

If anyone is interested this is maybe the 4th game in the series and goes back to Famicom Wars and told the DS game is the best.
