Back in the Game Cube days Nintendo stuck a deal with Capcom for 6 exclusive titles that got named the Capcom 6 of these 3 went on to be considered some of the best/innovative games on that system. Resident Evil 4 (later ported to Playstation take that Sony you got a port from a Nintendo system
), Viewtiful Joe and Killer 7.
Time for another Capcom 6?

Personally I would love to see this from Nintendo with any big publisher... but I doubt it. Sega and platinum are the only ones really doing any exclusive stuff right now. So everyone needs to make sure they have purchased W101 and lost worlds and also purchase bayo2 and sonic boom this year to show that we appreciate them trying.

closest i can see is Nintendo funding and overlooking development, capcom essentially loaning studios for money.

It was Capcom 5 not six and one was canceled. 3Dude is wrong tho. They still have talent and EX Troopers proves it and other Japanese games I played recently. They also seem to finally find small western studio's to do good work like Wayforward with Ducktales and Double Helix with Strider.
Capcoms issue is management. It's always been a family run business and they were never very smart. However Capcom used to have a lot more talent and when an idea was pitched they let them make it. Not the case anymore. They have talent and listen now they have people in the US offices who get it so much more than the Japanese offices do. You can thank the western office for Strider even existing. They want EX Troopers west.
That said I'd like a PG 5 myself. 2 we already know of.
PG Metroid...wowers.
Other games. Be great
