After some incredible achievements over the last year and a half, I am announcing my departure from Rev3 Games and Discovery Digital Networks. Sixteen years in front of the camera covering the videogame industry has brought me to a point where I am ready and desiring to explore new opportunities. While I would never say no to doing one more review, interview or opinion piece, the time feels right to explore new avenues inside of gaming that help further the medium. The audience, my wonderful and talented co-workers and the last year at Rev3 Games will forever be appreciated for what was accomplished. There never is a right time to part ways with something that has become as natural as breathing, but things do end and now feels right.

Can't say I'm suprised. Dude is hitting his 40s soon, and he fell into irrelevancy after G4 died. He was enterataining at times, but decent compared to some other gaming journalist.

He was a good reviewer and one of the few who actually told it like it is. He would argue his points and make his case which is the best I could say about a reviewer.

He was cool when it was him and Kate Botello on Extended play. When it became X play he ruined that show. Never liked much from his mouth. Not really bothered. Rev3 I was watching back in 2005. Man that place has changed and even tho I watched Pat since TechTV Veronica leaving kinda put the show down. Seems sadly Rev3 is becoming a shell :(

Rev3 was at its best with a combo of Adam, max (Matt?) and Tara.

With scoville gone and now sessler, it's nothing. Seriously.

The nerd guy who is the boss or whoever interjects himself far too often. No one wants to see or hear him. Or his beard.

I don't agree with sessler half the time but appreciate his candor and transparency which is much more than can be said for most in his field.

I don't even watch them anymore. But couldn't get enough when the aforementioned trio had a perfectly awkward thing going.

He'll actually be 41 this year.

Good. Another tumor removed from the festering corpse of modern gaming. One step at a time....

That's stupid. If it's a corpse it's already dead. Who would waste time removing tumors? Unless you just want it to look good for the burial? But assuming modern gaming is dead then what era of gaming are we in?

"So if Zero Suit Samus is fanbait for guys, where is the fanbait for girls? Why isn’t Captain Falcon wearing a thong or sporting a chest twice the size of his last model? Why doesn’t Mario have an absurd crotch buldge holding in his 10 inch slice of manhood? Why doesn’t Yoshi look like a Fist of the North Starcharacter.

That, my friends, is why the design is sexist."~Angelo M. D'Argenio-4/17/2014

Adam wasn't that bad. That Greg Miller guy though is a major fanboy and he needs to go.

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die. The Corpse God may rise again, provided we scrape off all the parasites and cancers leeching off its power.

We are in the marketing conglomerate controlled dark ages.
