Online racer The Crew will run at native 1080p, 30 frames per second on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, creative director Julian Gerighty has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

The PC version won't differ too much from the console versions, either, he says, adding that Ivory Tower is "really trying to get parity across all versions, so it's something that's important to us not to branch out and not do individual things for individual platforms."

One feature exclusive to the PS4 version, however, will be the use of the DualShock 4's touchpad.

"Reflections is doing the PS4 version and they're doing an incredible job on it," Gerighty continued. "We'll be using the trackpad to manipulate the map and stuff like that, so they’ve really pushed two or three different things there."

The Crew launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC later this year.

Everytime I hear this games title I think it's The Division from Ubisoft.

 

1080p good for Xbone but you have to wonder if it's holding PS4 back in multiplats.

Should be interesting. I saw a trailer and the cars look heavily customisable. I've recently been getting into car driving in games. Shoulder be fun.

But, you can buy the extra 30fps on the ps4 for a microtransaction of 99 cents for every 5 additional frames. Would fit right in line with the rest of the bs they are trying to pull on this pile.

THis game is a steaming load of anti consumer crap, a test to see just how far theyve succeeded into brainwashing people until they can really start ripping into the 'Monetization of consumer whales' (THIS IS A REAL THING THESE COMPANIES ARE SAYING AND DOING. THESE ARE THEIR OWN WORDS. THIS IS WHAT THEY THINK OF YOU.) without anybody calling them on it.

I wouldnt touch this pile of crap with a tenfoot pole duct taped to another 10 foot pole.
