It's sorta crazy to think we're just a few months from seeing a new legend of zelda revealed but since we're so close I figured we could talk about what we're hoping to see from artstyle/gameplay and things like those.

Personally I hope it doesn't looks like the tech demo, I was watching it again yesterday and I really don't like how things look. I wouldn't mind a more colourful but still kinda realistic artstyle like ocarina of time and as for gameplay I'm hoping to have a big overworld with a lot of things to explore and find that aren't tied to the main quest. I'd also like the option to use the wii remote for sword control similar to skyward sword but also have the option to play with/on the gamepad. Though I doubt we'll get both.

I'm hoping that Zelda mans up and stops wearing that wussy green outfit, like wtf was Zelda thinking putting that shiz on? Maybe give him, like, an OBEY cap just to signify his dominance over that green skin guy. Speaking of the green skin guy, why the hell is his skin green? Make him have a toothbrush moustache like Hitler's and he can be a nazi zombie, because I love zombies and nazis.

I also hope they go for the first person perspective, but like, don't force the gun onto people, make it like, an in-app purchase to get the commander sword for around $2.99 that way the old skool losers can still play it their way (what noobs lol).

The map can be, like as big as Skyrim, make it like, procedurally generated to fill it in but add trees and stuff.

Then release DLC maps every two months after it comes out so people don't forget about it and stuff?

And one of the DLC maps could come with an offline mode if people wanted a single player mode?

Graphics: Tech-Demo w/ Skyward Sword stylization + Sonic DLC/Hyrule Warriors color POP

Controls: Hopefully the option to use both Motion Controls (Loved them.) and Gamepad/Pro Controller. When using the Game-Pad you get a map, and ... well put it to good use.

Gameplay: I kinda would like Magic to make a bit of a comeback. A pretty big overworld, and I do agree with a few side quest.

Timeline: People are hoping for the OoT/MM/TP timeline, it makes sense as we have WWHD, ALBW, so we need a new game release to fit there. I do wish the WW timeline could return to consoles though, but it makes sense as a handheld now a days.

Hopes:

Graphics/Artstyle of Tech Demo (that was perfect)

Open world that you can explore, ditching the linear path Skyward Sword took

Bring back an instrument that you can play with as well as play songs on.

There's stuff in the overworld that you can do, Not like Twilight Princess where it was just empty.

Expectations:

Graphics/artstyle are a more realistic version of Skyward Swords, still colourful

Open world (not sure what's going to be in the open world)

That's mostly what I Expect will happen, there's barley anything to go off. All we know is that it'll have a "Skyrim" feeling to it, Skyrim is an open world side quest filled game with things to kill everywhere and mini dungeons and big dungeons to explore. So it could be something similar to that

Graphics: tech demo if not better.

Open world: skyrim level open but with the complex style of LinkBetweenWorlds. Also the randomness of a Bethesda title and the world feeling alive like a gta title.

Gameplay: being able to switch from normal to motion sensing. Also puzzles.

I want to be left alone exploring like in the NES Zelda. I want it to take years to finish because of getting stuck and not knowing how to proceed. And make it special, like Majora's Mask, the mood of that game is fantastic.

The internet ruined that. I actually wouldn't have finished Skyward Sword as quickly as I did without the internet helping me with one puzzle.

Graphics: tech demo if not better.

They will be better, they've never had a Zelda look worse than the tech demo. Ever. Wind Waker doesn't count, it was technically more advanced than the demo, just used a more colourful art style.

You should just forbid yourself to cheat. It actually isn't as difficult as it sounds.

Or 50/50. For example; I liked the Wind Waker art style before it was cool.

I would like for the game to be like the NES game where you really had to explore because not all worlds were in sight and you had to find someone who could hint you to it´s location. Even secrets were very well hidden.

You could enter any world pretty much from the start, but you couldn´t survive if you hadn`t adquired certain items before.

It was a game where exploration just made sense and was beautiful.

I want a world that people never seen before so they can create something new and magical that isn`t bounded to what Hyrule is.

I want a game that is just beautiful artistically.

Graphically, I'm hoping for a realistic tone. Like closer to Elder scrolls Skyrim. But after playing A Link Between Worlds and WindWaker, I wouldn't mind color mixed into the realism.

With the world I would like an open world similar to Bethesda games, where you can go where you please. That would be cool.

No matter what Nintendo does I'll be preordering the Deluxe Special Hardened Collectors edition of the game. Great to see what everyone is expecting

I just want a hero mode that doesn't require completion of the game.

I want a harder difficulty from the beginning.

Hero mode has always been a reward.

graphics/artstyle: Whatever Nintendo wants.

Main request: Level 4 open world, no forced step by step handholding ruining all discovery. I want to be surprised again when i actually FIND a dungeon.

Towns. Worthwhile towns, with more than an impossibly tiny/obviously inbred number of inhabitants.

New and well thought out items and powerups, including optionals that are rewards for exploration/sidequests BEYOND just another damn heart peice.

new art style that wasn't yet used in a zelda game.

Minimal handholding.

Something that is open and explore able.

Not a empty dull world but a content filled one with plenty to do while exploring. Not simply a annoying path from point A to B.

Nintendo will do what they do and people will react strongly anyway positive or negative. I don't care. Whatever they do I'm sure will be fine. Tho myself I have a love hate relationship with the series. Not liked a few and loved a few.

Now if I had a wishlist but not making it an expectation but a pipe dream.

I have wanted a console Zelda using the same artwork and style of the original NES. Link Between Worlds fulfilled my wish for SNES era. However a full cel shaded game that looks like this era

If these pics were HD and real time WiiU just cleaned up. 80's inner child would have a wish come true. That Old school anime look.
