Since I have a severe soft spot for 90's nostagia Nintendo ads since Link Between Worlds to DK to this have a cheesy 90's touch. Love it.

They need to ditch all the live-acting stuff. It's terrible. Show the game, maybe show an animation of Mario or something, but don't have real actors...

Anyway, this is great that they've started their advertisement this early.

They need to ditch all the live-acting stuff. It's terrible. Show the game, maybe show an animation of Mario or something, but don't have real actors...

Anyway, this is great that they've started their advertisement this early.

Heh I disagree, it reminds me of their old 90's ads. The cgi ads for games are annoying af.

I think this Dutch commercial (about something totally different) would have worked much better when translated into Mario's universe:

Very good.

 

Cheese and silliness for all the right reasons and it's a trend I have noticed in the past few Direct's, glad their ads now have this flavour too.

Ugh I hate that commercial :P

 

They need more humor in their ads. This one was pretty okay tho.

They already have. last month they been advertising at racing events and had that direct and the promotion will last til the end of 2014.

I love these commercials. Full of humor. I also feel a video like this would be great to see on TV too

Hate the style on these Nintendo ads, but at least they have them out. I just hope I see them during major tv events and not just on Nick and Cartoon Network

People who don't understand these ads clearly didn't grow up in the 80's, 90's. A video game commercial should never take itself seriously.

Just to clear anything thats gone over anyones heads, these videos are specifically mocking people with image insecurities.

I'll never play a mario kart until they add guns and gore!
