If you have a USB SD card adapter that should work.

The Wii U's built in SD card reader is only used for Wii Mode Shop downloads and auxiliary files such as pictures or (on certain games) save data. If you have a third-pat SD card reader that lugs into a USB port, it is treated as a generic USB drive and can be used to hold ALL downloaded games, provide they fit on the card.
