I figured this deserved a topic.

 

First, Capcom has released their E3 trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.  More marketing than game in my opinion, but hey, the series needs all the western exposure it can get.

 

 

 

Additionally, they announced that Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (originally on PSP) will be arriving on iOS in the west.  It had previously been announced for iOS in Japan, but they have now confirmed it is coming west as well. 

 

 

 

Obviously, if you are going to play this, get yourself a proper controller that supports iDevices, as there is no way in heck that game will be bearable with touch controls.

Will definitely be downloading. I haven't played anymore than that MH3U demo, but the graphics are gorgeous, and taking down monsters with WUF sounds like a ton of fun. Really thankful I have a 32gig card right about now. This, BD, EOU, AS, and Curtain Call. Awesome!

Having played Wii U version so long I can't imagine not playing this on my TV. Wii U version would be day one buy.

 

Maybe with MH3 being a free option with MK8, that was a strategy by Capcom.
